A Tribute to Donna Corbo

May 19, 1960 – December 26, 2010

To meet Donna Lynn Corbo was to remember her forever.  Her human body was barely able to contain the spirit that called her body home.  She was the personification of the Fire element.  Whether she was travelling around the world, following her favorite country band (Alabama) around the country, riding a mechanical bull, white water rafting, working for the United States Postal Service, or just playing video poker at a casino, Donna lived life with a passion that few of us could ever hope to match.

Donna is the third person to have an EEM Memorial Scholarship established in her name.  She was selected to honor her for her incredible courage amidst excruciating illness, and for her having had the fortitude to use her body as a laboratory that demonstrated the power of energy medicine. Her five-year ordeal with debilitating illness was an odyssey that brought to her the best of energy medicine and, tragically, the worst of conventional medicine, which her family is certain took her life. Her story is a poignant and instructive case study of treatments gone right and treatments gone wrong.
