Eden Method App Campaign Update
We at Eden Method have had the most unfortunate and unusual circumstance occur with Indiegogo regarding our Eden Method App Campaign. The Campaign was completed and we were already fulfilling the PERKS when we received a strange message from Indiegogo informing us our Campaign was put on hold and the funds for the campaign would not be released. We immediately escalated the issue to their support team and after several emails attempts, with no response for more than a week, we finally received the following letter:
Hi Jeffrey,
My name is Aileen and I'm with Indiegogo's Trust and Safety team. We noticed your campaign, “The Eden Method Mobile APP”, contains content that is prohibited by our Community Guidelines, which prohibits campaigners from offering any type of medication or dietary supplements. This includes weight loss supplements, herbal supplements, or any product "marketed in a way that implies that they are safe or effective for use in preventing, curing, or treating a particular disease or ailment (whether via a device, app, book, nutritional supplement, or other means.)"
At this time, in order to ensure compliance with our Community Guidelines, we have removed your campaign from our platform and have issued refunds to your backers.
All campaigners agree to comply with our Terms of Use and Community Guidelines before launching their campaigns on Indiegogo. Unfortunately, this means that if we discover that a campaign has gone live with prohibited content, we may take steps to remove the violation. We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience, and wish you all the best with your efforts.

We of course immediately replied to them to inform that our work does not violate the Terms and Conditions as stated. The Daily Energy Routine is not illness-focused, it is about living a happier and more vital life.
We also requested a timeline from them on when refunds would be issued to the individual investors so we could inform our investors and establish an alternative mechanism for them to support the campaign. As of this posting, we have not heard from them regarding any specifics and have offered them repeated opportunities to respond.
This whole episode has been extraordinarily frustrating. While we’ve not heard back from Indiegogo, we have been made aware by a few of our investors that refunds have been made. We are unclear on how many investors have been refunded or to whom and/or when all refunds will be processed.
After numerous challenging emails from us, we finally received another correspondence from Indiegogo stating that our case was being reviewed again. We are unclear on what this means and have been met again with zero communication on how many refunds have been processed or when the remainder of the refunds would be processed.
