We are writing this as we film some new material for the June “Energies of Love” Super Summit. It is amazing how quickly the use of technology is making it possible for us to reach so many more people. Just in this issue, we will be mentioning the E of L Super Summit, which will reach thousands, a 5-day Energy Psychology training that already has some 40 people enrolled online, and an Energy Medicine Yoga online class we are planning for 2019.
We wish you could feel the excitement of the filming we are doing today. It is a new world for us, and after fighting it for years (we love hands-on, face-to-face teaching), we are starting to embrace it.

Alleviate Severe Pain with Simple Techniques
See how Bill Milligan, an Eden Energy Medicine Certified Practitioner (EEM-CP) and M.D. in North Carolina successfully treated a patient's severe pain by using simple Eden Energy Medicine techniques.
In a condition that normally takes a minimum of five days and a lot of medications to relieve pain and inflammation, the patient reported that within 36 hours, the pain had diminished by about 80%, without using any medication.

David’s 5-day classes in the basics of Energy Psychology have frequently been featured at Omega, Esalen, Kripalu, and other top teaching centers. They have regularly received rave reviews. For the first time, one of these events is being live streamed so you can take the course from home. Geared both to individuals wanting to learn the method for self-help and to professionals wanting to learn or brush-up on their energy psychology skills, the live class is being limited to a very small group to optimize the production quality since the vast majority of participants will be doing the course virtually.

Energy Medicine Yoga Will Be an Online Course
Lauren Walker Teaching Energy Medicine Yoga
Donna has had the honor of writing the foreword to several outstanding books, but one that is particularly meaningful was when one of her students showed that an understanding of Energy Medicine could enhance the benefits of the profound, time-honored health and spiritual discipline of yoga. Lauren Walker is recognized as one of the country’s top yoga teachers, and her combination of energy medicine and yoga is a brilliant innovation. She has written two books on the topic for Sounds True, and we are now entering the planning phases for creating an online course with her. Donna will participate, describing how she sees the energy flowing in traditional yoga poses and how this is enhanced when the poses are modified according to Energy Medicine principles. It will be an exciting course, released sometime in 2019. If you can’t wait, Lauren will be leading a 5-day retreat in Energy Medicine Yoga at the beautiful 1440 Multiversity in the northern California redwoods, June 10 - 15!

Energy and Medicine
After Donna’s book Energy Medicine was published in 1998, David waited breathlessly to see if the medical community would slam it, or even notice it. The first review to be published in a medical journal was by a physician at Harvard Medical School. To David’s great relief (Donna wasn’t harboring such concerns), it was a laudatory review. Its author won our hearts when he closed by saying that the only thing he found disappointing about the book was that he didn’t write it himself!
We have since become friends with that author, Rick Leskowitz, M.D. Rick just wrote an interesting editorial for the Journal of Alternative and Complementary Medicine about the medical profession’s wobbly relationship with the subtle energies that were the source of Donna’s book, reflecting on the nearly 50 years since he completed med school and into the future. The journal is posting it as a free download until May 21, and we thought you might wish to take a look.
